Hey guys. Here is something strange thats been happening over the last 2 weeks. Sometimes my Kat will start cold but sometimes the bike cranks at normal crank speed but doesn't start, if I put the battery on charge for about 10 minutes the bike starts. maybe startermotor brushes? The bike has new coils,plugs and igniter box. Has anyone come across this issue before?

Hmmm, new battery solved the problem. Apparently you can have enough charge to crank the starter but not enough juice to service the ignition system.
 
Yep, was going to say are you sure your battery's good? They need to be healthy to do both!
