I know there's bugger all chance of this but... is the pop up shift lever compatible with the 1100 shift lever? I'm in need of all three bits (lever, shaft, and end for the shift shaft) and there's a pop up one on eBay for a good price.

Mick Hone says the part numbers are different but we all know that could just be colour or style or something else...
 
Hey Pete, Darkside Voodoo is Bad Juju. Contaminating a real Kat with Darkside parts can only end in tears. The Katana God will not be pleased.

I may have a solution coming from the US yet, just have to wait and see...

The end for the shift shaft will fit, linkage rod - too long i think (aircooled Kat same as SV650), lever - unique to aircooled Kats. I'd honestly be inclined to buy new, or be prepared to grind the rivets and convert to rod ends due to wear in the balljoints.
 
Errr... thanks for that Murf... I think? :D

I think it's sorted Ben but will wait and se. I've done a semi balljoint conversion on the wee beastie for just that reason, changes gear so much better now...
