It'd be good to catch up with some of the local WA members... anyone keen for a ride this Saturday morning 10th Oct ?
 
I really would like too but in my bike workshop on Saturday as I have to get the front end back on the GS also have to get Lesley's Kat back on the road.

If you are heading or end up south, call in for lunch, coffee, BBQ or whatever. It is really easy to find my place. Always welcome. Just call or text 0419 900 617. Tom
 
I know its short notice ... I kinda had one of those "why not" moments ... Ya reckon your bike will be ready the following weekend ?
the ride doesn't have to be too far, maybe we could meet up close by, then head out somewhere for lunch ?
 
Not sure on the Saturday yet. Heading off on Sunday 18th riding with the VJMC from Bentley. If I can will do both. I will let you know by early next week.

Just a thought ...Gero is approx 4 1/2 hrs each way, so, I was thinking of leaving by 7.00 am, get up their for lunch, hang around for a couple
of hours or so then head home, probably get back by 6.30 pm. Tom Your 1/2 an hour further south of me,

Rusty, Jurien Bay is about 1/2 way ... any thoughts ??

Not a bad option. I could always ride to Jurien to meet up and then same for way back. Itll be getting hot up this way very soon so might be something we can consider for either A) very soon, or B) next year (April or thereabouts). You guys would be most welcome to stay at my house if a weekender would make the two 450km rides a bit more broken up - 900km in a day is a fair hike on a Kat - though has certainly been done before!!. The other two fellas from Gero might be keen to do a run or two to Jurien also if we plan something. I still havent ventured along the coastal highway yet but have been considering it for some time.

Second plan could be to meet in Jurien for lunch though we wouldn't be riding together that way, just meeting up in the middle.

Sounds great to me. Yes, next year would be better.
 
We could meet at Jurien say around 11:00 am, get some grub, then ride around as a group for a couple of hours before heading home.
If Tom and I ride up from Perth together, meet up with Rusty and hopefully the other Gero riders and fang around Jurien.
I agree It's gonna get hot real soon ... not sure I can wait 'til April.
