Been riding dirt bike since the 70s and then road bikes in the 80s
Am a member of the ACT vintage bike club and recently the Jap vintage motorcycle club
Always loved the big Kats but could never afford one back in the day
I recently went against All my Buying Rules ?? 1st, 2nd and 3rd rules, never buy a bike in bits
Yep bought a 750 Popup in boxes from a club member
A friend tolled me after. Buy Katana think later, when I first saw the bike or part of it under a carport wrapped up
in a perished tarp, the rest in boxes. I thought walk away but something said to me save this bike
I’ve restored many single cylinder trail bikes but never a big road bike
Have been been impressed reading about what a lot of you guys have restored and made good
