Yep, I'm in.
Hopefully will be able to arrange way to get all three Kat's there!

Westside Hotel dinner does not sound like a long ride!
Might leave keys at cabin and push the bike/s there.

Hi Everyone,
I have today booked myself a cabin at the Holiday park and will be there on Friday. I will be towing my '83 750 and '84 750 Kat's
Regards
Nick

Look forward to meeting you Nick...And catching up with other Kat owners.
Have booked as well... Will be bringing the SD1000 and a friends freshly built SXZ from Bundaberg...:D

I'm in! Haven't booked yet but confirmed I'm good to go today. Loose plan is to leave Thursday, pub stay Thursday night, Dubbo Friday/Saturday night, then pub stay Sunday night and back home Monday arvo. We'll figure out what the Qld'ers are doing I reckon. I've never ridden down that way so it'll all be a new adventure!

Woohoo Pete,

This is the back road route I had in mind;
https://tinyurl.com/de7daea9
About 1000K
Includes a dog leg to go over Mt Katputer to Narrabri cause I've always wanted to do that, but its all optional, happy to vary if time restrains.

also why I wanted to leave on the Wednesday.
Cheers John

Any of the less intrepid amongst us planning to drive down from Brisbane? Could organise a convoy if so. What are the plans formed? I'm reasonably flexible with work so can fit in with others.

Rang van park today, all cabins are booked for the Saturday. Cattlemans motel next door seems the go.

That route looks good to me John. Understood on leaving Wednesday but that would be pushing the friendship for me unfortunately. Bingara might be the logical break point by the looks? Unless we want to go further on the Thursday and get into Dubbo earlier, which would make Narrabri the better option (unless of course there's somewhere else along there that's better). That dog leg over Mt Katputer definitely looks like a suitably twisty bit of road!

Speaking to Ben at Power O on Saturday he's contemplating driving rather than riding.

Thanks for sorting that, glad to get something booked in nice and early.

Would prefer to keep the plan loose, and stop when feeling the need, rather than lock in some dot on the map. Bigger first day is. Normally the go.

Yep that works for me, and you know I'm an early starter so definitely keen for an early start and big first day.

Booked at the Cattlemans, thanks for the tip John. Got the last serviced apartment so looks like the overflow is going there.

Quick FYI - if you book at the Cattlemans they will take the full booking cost straight away despite saying on their website it is a book now pay later scenario.

Ring and speak to someone, old school ways still work.

I did - they said it was in the fine fine fine print. Now they just took a deposit...…………………..

Aren't we lucky that Frankie (and others)........ conspired to get Dubbo organised as an alternative to PI. Hopefully it will proceed as planned, am looking forward to it

Yes Gary, as they have canceled the Moto Gp and Formula One in Melbourne again. A BIG thank you to Frankie.
