This might be the new cigarette ash tray from the Torana SLR5000.... They were (and may still be) worth buckets cos when Toranas got broken into the ash trays were all stolen as they quite often had change in them (or just enough butts to collect into one roll ya own - whichever..)..

Anyway Id prefer the Mopar this is off of...
 
In fact I saw this one in town the other weekend - Bathurst original - 1 of 14 remaining - 1 of 21 built. Yes I cracked a giant stiffy too...

I don't get the old car shit - my Cougar was a fun car but still handled like a 1960's car and did 8mpg, had no aircon and vinyl seats that you stuck to if the temperature exceeded freezing point. I saw the other day that a Maserati Ghibli now has an asking price of close to $1 million in the UK. I nearly bought one 15 years ago for $60,000. If only I had a time machine. But it still drove like a early '70's tank and did 4mpg.
 
I almost bought an 11 second 440 'cuda about 20 years ago for $20k. I thought "are you f'n crazy"?
