Supa Steve into(belated!)

Hi Fellas,

1st up apology for late intro.
Just want to thank everyone for the welcome and help.

I have a 82/750 clean original 100,000ks but quiet as a mouse.
Im on my way this weekend to SA to pick up a 83/1100 project.
Ive been getting a lot of parts and info together for the builds. Got lotsa other stuff to, including some gsxr stuff.

Me, well im 63 been on 2 wheels my whole life.
Started with road bikes at 19, a trusty honda 4. Kat at 22 another at 50 now another 2 keepers this time.

Looking forward to helping others if I can and doing some ride days this year and meeting the club.

spose thats it until i return from SA in a couple of weeks and Ill put some pics together.

Direction is a trick 83 wire wheel kat, very period correct ( I like the dark blue centre stripe and the double blue line paint scheme) and the 750 gets a retro build now I have another Kat. Standard KAT silver.

Thanks again for the help. Great people already

Hope to catch up soon.

Supa

Welcome Supa. Nice history - very similar to me, but I've dropped off the riding recently for some personal issues. I've told the wife, I'm never selling another bike. :)

Hey Supa,
Welcome to the forum. Lots of good knowledge and as Muddy says, similar stories. Look forward to your 750 build. I just brought a 750 back from the dead and it's now my regular (daily if I can) rider.

I've just added a 85 750 slabby to the list as a track day ride. Absolutely standard bike just gotta get some race glass but will build as a naked. All there just needs love. Easy build
