Hey all, seems this hasn't been posted up yet but SoO 2023 is all set for the weekend of the 13th to 15th October 2023!

Seems the White Albatross has indeed become a white albatross and isn't being so accommodating (haha) with price, so feel free to hunt around for the best accommodation that suits your budget, but keep in mind we'll still be doing the line up in front of the V Wall as usual.

Hi Folks, a big thank you to Pete for getting the Forum back on its wheels, thanks mate.

SOO 2023 is less than a month away so this is an update for SOO 2023. As Pete hinted at previously, the cost of accommodation at the Albatross has jumped up a fair bit so looking around Nambucca for other accommodation will get you in to places at a lower cost. For anyone interested in meeting up for dinner on Friday 13th, a table has been booked at the RSL under "Katana Owners Group" for 6:30 p.m. in Poppies Deck, a private dinning area away from the band so we can have a chat and few beers without yelling across the table.

Sat 14th, the plan is to meet up at the V Wall carpark in front of the Tavern (the usual spot) at 8:30 a.m. for photos and then head out for the day ride with Tony leading the way.

Saturday night dinner has not been set in stone yet, that one is T.B.A.

See ya Friday 13th at the Razzle

Hi Folks,

Saturday 14th Oct dinner, a group booking has been made for us at the Nambucca Heads Golf Club - The Island Restaurant for 6:30 p.m. See ya there.

Cheers

Oh, do we have a list of who's going by the way? Just realised when talking to John yesterday that I have no clue aside from some of the regulars...

PS: Only 15 sleeps!

More ready than I have ever been for a KAT weekend.

Bikes serviced, test rode and ready, I have even packed, for some reason this involved a lot of searching for stuff.

5 sleeps Pete, yes I am counting.

Cheers John

4 sleeps to go!

Kat washed and waxed yesterday, and Derek will be disappointed that my right rear indicator will no longer wave to him.

So how come you commented on the appropriateness of my number plate then hey? :p

3 sleeps... not that I'm counting or anything...

Yeah that conversation went south... as expected! Did I say only 2 sleeps to go?

Quick once over on the Kat, ready to roll early tomorrow morning, see ya's then!

Well that weekend ranks right up there with some of the best riding I've done, thanks fellas that was just amazing!

The weather was perfect, the roads were pretty clear of traffic and not too much attention of the wrong sort, and of course a great bunch of people on great bikes. What more could you ask for? I'll aim to get some photos up soon that I took too.

Pass on my thanks to Phil for the escort on those brilliant roads on Saturday, and let him know if he thinks those roads are bumpy, he should come try ours some time :D
