Seat ideas

My katana is never going to carry a pillion, (I have other bikes for that) I want to clean up the rear end of my Kat and make it a single seater. Whos seen anything that looks good or has a new idea for a rear tail section and seat? Im pretty handy and can fabricate most things Ive made a few seat pans and café style rear tail sections in the past. Im just looking to make something clean and nice looking.
 
I like that, I think I might try and make something that covers the gap behind the side covers
 
Im thinking with the sharp angles of the Katana maybe I can bend something up from sheet metal.... but that gap needs filling in my opinion.
 
im still new here.... cant quite work out how to do that... but ill get there
 
lets hope.... im open to any ideas, but ideally ill make my own styled off the ideas I get.
 
Hi MadKatter, the solo seat cowl on mine is fibreglass on alloy mounts. A spare seat base required surgery to make this work however, it is well worth the effort and readies it took to make as the riding position is perfect for me. Here is a before and after photo.
