SE QLD Kats - Saturday 11 September 09h00 Esk

So as the 40th cannot happen from an Interstate perspective - the Qld guys are thinking of doing another Go-Kart run.

Saturday 11 September 2021 (Original weekend for 40th in Dubbo):
Arrive Esk @ 09h00 - fuel up at Mobil on left and double back to meet at Angies Country Cafe (on the rhs just after the bridge coming in from Fernvale).
Depart Esk @09h30
Early lunch at McCoys Cafe in Cooyah - circa 11h00.
After lunch hit out to Nanango via Maidenwell (.......you paying attention this time Shin-ken!)
Fang it around Nanango and then return to Brisvegas - via Toogoolawah (South) and Delany's Creek (North)

Hopefully we can get a decent line up somewhere for a Qld 40th selfie........
 
Sounds great. I didn't get there last year. keen as. did i say im going. looking forward to it.......where we going again?

My good friend from work has just bought the Cooyah Pub, a few yards from Mr Squiggles cafe.

My mate at the pub is also thinking of reviving/continuing the pubs bike related activities, mainly dirt bike tracks and races but I am sure will also be open to a bike friendly stopping point
for weekend runs and passing through.

Unfortunately - we have quite few regulars that aren't able to make it (including some bike issues) and the general consensus is to postpone to a future date when we can expect a stronger turnout - details to follow.

That's a shame but understandable. I'm taking advantage of the weather and the expectation of a day ride to continue on from Power O probably a Sunny Coast hinterland ride.
