Hi Folks,

For those keen on Kat-ching up over a Katana Khristmas breakfast and the last Power O ride to the Pit Stop Cafe for 2021 here we go. The Pit Stop Cafe will be closing over the Christmas New Years period so Dec 11th will be our last Power O ride to the Pit Stop and John is offering Katana riders (real ones) free coffee for those in our group rockin' up for breakfast on the 11th.

Booking has been made for 08:15 however, if you are interested please post your details in a reply here so we have an idea of numbers attending for the table booking. If anyone can't make it to the usual Power O start time of 07:00 at the IGA, just meet up at the Pit Stop Cafe by 08:15 if that works for you?

Derek will also post details on the Katana facebook site.

11th Dec Power O Riders:

Drillit
Shin-Ken
Paul11
Exxon Dave
Jesse
Darkside
Pete
Matt
Boogieman
Russ TBC
Scrapeit
Swoopswoop TBC - if electric gremlins can be sorted
Toadboy

Cheers,
Glen.

Ah my name's already there, excellent! Wouldn't miss it :D

I would very much like to attend on the 11th if ok guys. Wife will probably be a +1

I'll be on 4 wheels but will park a respectful distance away :)

Be good to see you Eric, I will have a present for you (I keep forgetting to get it to you, sorry...)

Hi Eric, glad to hear you and Olivia can make it, see ya there mate.

Cheers.

Oh, if anyone's keen to continue on from the Pit Stop, I'm planning on heading north, maybe a Sunny Coast Hinterland ride or something, back home later in the arvo.

Yeah I think they've coordinated the rain and storms for this afternoon and evening when we have our work Christmas party, which apparently involves walking around the city :D

Gotta love that forecast! Katch you all in a couple of hours :D

Quite disappointed I couldn't get to this - still stuck in home quarantine...

Merry Xmas all anyway!

Awesome day out. Great turnout and good company up at The Pitstop - who provided Kristmas krackers and a komplementry koffee to all those that arrived on Katana's (sorry Dave).

I think you have abit too much time on your hands Derek. Funny but.

Yep, fantastic day out, thanks for organising the Katch up guys! That weather was perfect, coffee was good, company was great, and lots of Kats together is always a fantastic sight.

Some happy snaps below for your enjoyment.

John and I continued to venture north for a Sunny Coast hinterland ride which was great fun as well. Haven't been up that way in a while so we had some adventures and nearly ended up at a Buddhist retreat at one point, and we also found a gravel road you'd absolutely love Derek!

We'll definitely have to have a ride up that way again soon.

Oh, and disappointingly, the Bellbird Cafe just before Kenilworth that was always good for a drink stop is no more, gates shut and no signage so I'm assuming they closed down which is a shame.

Hi Pete, bummer about the Bellbird cafe. Thanks for the pics and finding that new road for Derek.

Cheers.
