I know I will probably get hung, drawn and quartered for this but here goes.
I have been looking at pics of CB750's and Kawasaki Z1's and how they looked so cool with four pipes. So I thought, what would a Katana look like with four pipes ala Kawasaki?
So, all you computer nerds out there that know all about photoshopping and such dark arts, how about posting some pics, in proportion of course, of a Kat with four pipes. I think it would look pretty good!
I go now to hide and await the tirade....
Cheers
Mel

Possibly pulled in four different directions with ropes tied to 4 Katana's

And we shall call it 'FrankenKat'!

What! What! What! Igor, light the fire and heat up the irons we have much work to do if Mel is to be saved from the foul Demons that have taken over his mind and warped it with depravity and all manner of evil doing ..................................

The voices warned me that this might come to pass. Come on.... you know you want to see what it would look like. It will not hurt... The voices have told me to be strong.
4 skinny silencers, 4 black chrome headers. Yeesssss!!!!
What's that o voice?
Oh - 4 pipes the same shape pipes that the 500cc MV Augusta had that Agostini rode!!!

You know... I have wondered the same... 4 into 4 on a Kat... hmmm...

I have also wondered... what a 4 into 2 the same design as the prototype ED2 would look like...

I forgot to say it would be interesting to know what any performance difference would be with a 4 into 4 also...

So now there are two more lost souls in need of guidance and perhaps a touch of the flame to purge them of their evil.................

well Glen best make it three!

A Kat with something like the F4 MV exhaust tucked up under / beside the taillight. What I thought was the sexiest mod Katana I have ever seen was when I was in Sydney last year had an exhaust up and under the rear. Beautiful bike and the exhaust really made it. Pity I did not take any photos. I am sure that someone here knows it (or even the owner) could post some shots.

That would indeed be tasty Tom!!

Definitely need a bit different to a stock Kat though, need a bit more rear ride height I would think.

All i can help you with the guy hangs around the Brookvale motorcycle cafe and workshop and the work looks very neat indeed. He does not attend KA events and i do not know his name. When we had the Katana event there he won an award for best modified.

Couple of pics in their Facebook album. Nothing very specific of the exhaust and you need to troll a fair way down the albums
