Some pics of the late Clive Strugnell's SXZ that he raced. The bike was never ridden on the road and he acquired it new from Suzuki South Africa. Truly a rare gem. The bike now has a new owner and I am sure he will treasure it.

Hi Mel, thanks for the pic. Yeah, you are spot on about Clive's Kat being a rare gem. It looks great.

Gotta second that! A rarity. It has the chrome-moly swing arm? The Kiwi bikes never shipped with those. Is the engine still in E-27 spec?

20 of these SXZ's were sent to New Zealand and 25 to South Africa. The South African SXZ's had chrome-moly swing-arms. Apparently these were much stiffer than the aluminium jobs. I think Clivés is still in E-27 spec but I can't be sure.
