hello all, i'm Stuart and am returning to Katana ownership after a 30 year hiatus.
owned an 82' 750SZ back in 84' and commited the cardinal sin ( sold it for love ).
after years of regret managed to secure a nother 82" in need of lots of love. spent last year stripping down and rebuilding except engine, mostly with brand new "old" parts from Netherlands, USA, UK and even an excitable fellow in Oslo.

lking forward to being part of the Suzuki Katana Austalia comunity and both sharing & learnign with you all.

hope to put some details into the Restoration page shortly.

Hi Stuart and welcome aboard. Glad to hear you are back in Kat mode and getting your SZ sorted out. There are a few Kat owners in Sydney here on the Forum so you'll have company when you have finished the Kat rebuild. Keep the updates coming on the project and hope to see some photos of her soon.

Welcome aboard Tomcat. I too own an 81 750SZ. Had the engine re-built with a few mods including 816cc wiseco piston kit, webcam camshafts, ported/polished head, later model (cant remember which now) rocker gear and have mated it to 29mm Keihin CR Special Carbs. Very impressed with it.

Look forward to your resto progress mate. By the way did you step up to the 1100, or replace the old 750?

this where im up to, lots of small things still want to do.
have replace items with originl NEW right down to the tank and rear seat fairing bolts, and drain screws on front forks
