Rearsets

Just wanted to Gauge interest in resrsets for the Kat - This is a set of rearsets I designed and made (with assistance of the CNC guy at my work) for my kat ~10 years back - any interest in them if i were to investigate getting a batch manufactured? Would be able to offer them as pictured, or without the shift and brake pedals/brake master mounting so you'd use the stock pedals? Please ignore the filth, hadn't cleaned the bike after a 1000km run through the countryside, and yes, the boot on the master needs replacing...

Not in a position at the moment and won't be for a long time I reckon, but after having ridden a couple of Kats I could definitely see myself putting a set on later on... I know that doesn't help your decision now though! How versatile is the peg choice for them? I can't tell if those ones you have there are folding or not, definitely prefer to have folding ones myself, not that I'm Casey or Jack but it's that level of comfort thing...

For reference, the generator cover and I guess side stand (Certainly the centrestand!) on the left will touch down before the pegs do. They're fixed peg only - I personally don't see the point of folding pegs. I built them using off the shelf Oberon pegs (threw oberon adaptor pieces in the bin), but may look at modifying to use something else off the shelf.

Ouch that's gotta hurt!!

But got ya' Ben and good point on the grounding...

Mate, I’d be interested in a set but using standard gear and brake levers.
I assume that would be just the two brackets and any aftermarket bolt on peg would fit?
What price?
Cheers, Stuart.

Haven't had a chance to send drawings off for quote, and ultimately cost is related to how many sets I get made. For the way I'm set up on the bike, I have about a 1 1/2" spacer before the oberon pegs start. I've not looked at any other pegs yet, would supply with the spacers to use Oberon pegs. May be able to use Vortex pegs with the locating lugs ground off.

Okay, keep me in the loop, mate. Thanks!
