(Re)Introduction

Got an email from Kat Forum that my account was going to be deleted as an "inactive" member. Inactive?? I've been to an annual event and I've got the "35th Anniversary" t-shirt to prove it! :o

Anyhoo, Kat is still in the shed, untouched! 2020 was a shit year, gave someone I hate half a house and as a result moved towns and went back to work. Good news is, I now have a big shed, plenty of $$$ and no-one to nag me about the cost of bike bits :-). First thing on my "Goals for 2021" list was "Get the Katana on the road." True story.

So, I hereby pledge to you all, dear Katana forum members, that I'll get the beast on the road this year.

Bike's a 1984 750 pop-up in silver, 'cause I was 18 when Shame came out and Debra LF was (is?) a horn-bag.

Plans? Thinking I'd like to do a later model running gear upgrade, so keen for someone to point me in the right direction for ideas or collaborators.

So, hi all. Look forward to being less "inactive." And if I can get my hands on any 4oth anniversary gear, let me know.

Tim (Fifty5)

Glad to hear you are going to get another Kat back on the road, we will hold you to that.

Hopefully you can make it to the 40th and pick up another T-shirt

Cheers
Stuart

Thanks for coming back Tim.
We are trying to get this site back to normal as a lot of people have been hiding.
We know there is a Sh#t load of Kat riders out there as you well know by attending the anniversaries.
I know of a great little Pop-up , Big bore ,big carbs modern suspenders and goes great. All good.
Maybe a picture may pop up from Frankie to prove it. If he is not hiding!?
Cheers for re-entering the Kat house.

Welcome back Tim, glad you got our email and jumped back in already, we definitely want to liven things up a bit in here.

You should be able to get plenty of help for the Kat upgrade I reckon!
