Queensland - Esk/Cooyar/Go-Karts - Sat 23 Oct

Hi all,

We are going to give the go-karting another crack before it gets too hot.

Meet up as per before - but an hour earlier....

Arrive Esk @ 08h00 to leave 08h30 - fuel up and meet at Angie's Country Cafe on the right as you enter town from Fernvale side.

Thereafter Cooyar and Nanango for karting.

After karting head back via Colinton and split off to Toogoolawah and Kilcoy.

May be last real opportunity for a Group ride this year - so please join us!

Also, might have a tag-a-long with Todd as well. He needs to get out and have some fun.
 
I meant to ask at Power O last week if anyone's keen to meet at Samford for the ride to Esk together? When I came back from Nanango last time in September, there were roadworks on the highway just outside of Esk with up to 10 minutes delay, so it's probably worth considering turning right at the bottom of Glorious instead of left and going around the top of Wivenhoe. Not a lot of difference distance wise, and it also avoids that horrendously boring 80kph zone between Glorious and the main highway as well.

Todd's a non-starter tomorrow unfortunately but Shano will be meeting us at Samford. Bring it on!
 
We had a really good day out yesterday. Weather played ball.

Had a first timer come along as well as a local from Crows Nest. Hopefully next time he shall join us for the ride.

About 13 scooters all up and got home before dark.......which was a relief for the pop-up people.

Hey my last Qld ride on my Hayabusa rode along the lakes and then stopped at ESK for a bit and was met by two of your Highway Boys asking me the speed i was doing along the Lake. I replied the speed limit and the reply was, "Fuck Off back To Sydney".
Was staying in Algester Brisbane and said i will go back via Mt Glorious!!!
Bye Boys.
I did not get s smile from either.
