Phew

Out and about today on the wog bike aka falco SL1000 with a couple of mates running amok on some back roads, pulled into Glouster for some morning tea then off to Nabiac and had a nosey through the bike museum there which was great. Then off through to Forster Tuncurry and out through the Lakes way for some more twisty action, had a great day dropped one mate off at Medowie then on to home following another mate. As per murphys law about 5k from home and about 20 past dark o'clock a dirty big roo rears it's head, it's taken off and just missed the back of me mates bike and I reckon I ran over its tail, I felt it brush my right leg as it got through and then noticed my indicator hanging by it's wires, PHWEW F@#k that was close, off to the lotto shop for me.

Cheers

5am one morning up north I had a roo in the middle of the road.
Pulled up from 110 and was a metre short of hitting it.
Didn't get feet down in all the rush and fell over......buggar.
Another time I had one run in the side of me and only just missed front wheel.
Broke roo's leg and fork it hurt but I didn't drop it that time.
Hard to know what to do in a hurry that's for sure.
Lotto time it is.

....ADRENALIN RUSH...:o..that's one way to get it..:D..glad your OK....you've got more undies and you can fix the indicator...cheers Ian

Lucky one Max for you and your mate. Maybe the Roo is just a shit hot bouncer and tapped your blinker for fun... The cheeky bastard.

Nige

Haha you might be right Nige but either way I'm really glad that's the only damage done, bloody lucky I reckon.
Yeah Retro I tend to agree still getting used to the falco but so far really enjoying it

Glad you got home in one piece max, those roos don't have much give in em! Just curious about your mate that lives in Medowie, I live there as well.
Mike

Lucky man Max
glad you came through so lightly.

thats one of my biggest fears when sun goes down, hit a cat with full fairing doing a buck20 in my teens and that was scary enough.
at least you have a fireside story to tell now :o

Yep definitely a lucky escape I remember years ago I hit a dog on a dirt bike, took the front wheel out and trapped the dog under the bike when I lifted the bike off the mongrel bit me then later on the owner wanted me to pay the vet bills, they were unceremoniously told to ef off and who's paying for my brand new levis that now have holes in them.

Scoona my mate has just moved from Medowie to the Terrace his name is Paul and he rides a Blackbird

Cheers
Max
