Sorry about mentioning the 'K' word...

Does anyone here know of the dude who offloads Kawasaki H2 750s on fleaBay every so often in the Dayboro area?

My H2 project has stalled and I'm in pretty desperate need of some advice.

Happy to pass on my details for him to contact me.

You should get some great advice from Joe, he's retired from working on other persons bikes now but he is a great font of knowledge and since he is working on his H2's right now, I'm sure he would be able to help you out.

Not sure if you have been to his place but Sundays are a good day, he would like any of your bikes if you visited.

Oh, forgot to ask the question of "what is the information you seek?"

Well...

I'm missing quite a few little fiddly bits and bobs (brackets and such) and I have a brand new wiring harness that doesn't make much sense.
I really need to have a look at a complete, original bike to get a handle on where everything goes and how it all connects together.

Does Joe have a complete bike, and I know he's retired but would he be interested in giving me a hand to assemble the engine?

Joe has 2 and I've seen the paint on one of them, beautiful.

The only thing I can suggest is to have a chat with him, I do know that he will not build the motor for you but I think you would rather do it yourself anyway (as would I), hints and what to watch for shouldn't be a problem but again, best have a chat to him.

As for info for various bits and bobs, I don't think that will be a problem for him, a little known fact about him is he loves his Kawasaki's, he just happens to build beaut big air cooled Suzuki motors.

How are you for this Sunday? assuming Joe is up for a chat, bear in mind that a quick visit takes around 3 hours 'cause I just love what he does and some of the interesting projects he has going.

I'll be away this coming Sunday, but the Sunday after New Year (2nd of Jan) might be a goer if Joe's available.

I really need to get cracking on the H2 and I'd greatly appreciate being able to talk to Joe and get as much info as possible.

Ok, I'll chat to Joe about it, I need to see him about starting and charging issues on his drag bikes, batteries take a bit of a hiding when the starter motor pulls 160amps with 24volts.
