No, I don't have a set for sale although I would like to have stashed a few sets away. Just read the GS1000S story in the Feb 2017 Classic Bike mag and the author is quoting prices being paid in the U.K. for GS1000 mirror sets. 700 quid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep, 700 pounds was the top price paid recently for a set of NOS mirrors. The average price is 500-600 pounds, a much better buy.
 
A set sold on US eBay just recently for just over US$1000...


I hide my set in a drawer at my place - no way would I actually use them on the bike!

Yeah Paul, the way the prices for these mirrors are going they'll soon be worth as much as the whole bloody bike was when they were new.

That may make the 1000S a bit of a bargain...

It also has a good unobtainium push/pull throttle housing, and the front fairing is an OEM plastic original!
I'm gonna have to take that off too and fit a fibreglass replica, methinks, as my current 'relationship' with birds makes me nervous.
