And.......................? So Tom, are you arranging freight for a sexy red GS1000S?

Cheers.

Sure am. Just waiting for Bikesonly to call back to pay for the freight. Pick up next week listed to be delivered to home on Thursday 26th March. Lesley is a little stressed with another bike in the collection. Not sure why as she was keen for the red Kat that I missed.

Well done Tom. I think it would be a long time between drinks before another 1000S in that condition turns up for sale again. And as we all know they were faster than the blue model. Lesley will forgive you once it arrives and she can see what a great bike it is and the price was pretty fair for an unmolested example.

Cheers.

GREAT SCORE TOM, Looks good value. Tell Leslie that every one she met over here agree that you had to buy it. You needed it more to the point...cheers Ian....(put her on the phone):)

No drama Tom, I could help out even more by test riding it for you........................................for a few months.

Thanks Brian. I am also looking for a stock set of pipes for my N model. If ever happen to see any please let me know. What model pipes are you after?

The 1000ST arrived yesterday and am totally wrapped. Always awkward buying by photographs, I am blown away by the actual condition. In fact I really believe it would have won its year class at the Jap bike show on the weekend. The paint work is like the bike just rolled off the showroom floor. The seller was totally honest with the couple of issues (tacho / fuel gauge) but apart form a finicky light switch should pass rego / licence without any problems. It has the original tool kit and the dial pressure gauge for the forks but also carefully rolled up and hidden was the original owners manual. I had Bike Only freight it from Victoria which is a door to door service and they were brilliant. The guy who delivered to home was a bike mechanic from Cairns who now resides in WA and delivers bike all over the state. His truck is well set up to transport bikes. I will post a couple of pictures on the weekend.

Thanks for the news on the delivery of your new Baby Tom. Good to hear all went well and you are happy with the bike after taking a punt with it. Looking forward to the photos and the ride report.

Cheers.
