G’day everyone. I’m new to the ownership world of a Katana. I’ve only just acquired an 84 Katana 1100 - Burgundy/Silver.
Currently sorting the front end back to original as it has a 16in front and getting the paintwork all done.
Already had some great help from Joe and Reg - thanks gents.

Welcome along mate! Always good to have another member and I love the later two tone colour schemes.

Welcome Sawoody.
Yes, this is a great forum with lots of information and helpful Kat owners willing to assist.

What region of Sydney do you hail from, and is your '84 Kat rideable or needing some work?

Please realise a lot of the clowder are voyeurs and like to look at pictures of naked and clothed Kat's (don't judge me!)

Hope you enjoy your ownership of a Kat, - or the Kat owning you.

Cheers

Hi Sawoody and welcome to the Forum. Great to hear from you and let's hope that front wheel turns up soon. It's never too late to start enjoying owning and riding a Kat as you will soon discover. I have sent you a P.M. ( Private Message), to read a P.M. just click on the "Notifications" at the top right of the page here.

Cheers,
Glen.

Not rideable at the moment as it’s getting painted and the wheels. Can’t wait to get it back on the road!

Might be a set of ESD forks available on here, they'll do in a pinch to replace the EF forks and will suit the 'new' wheel you have, I see discs on it too, calipers are different to the EF though, need a clean up and repainting of the centres (black), and you'll be good to go.

Bike has an ESD front end but going back to the original. 👍🏻
