New Jack Katana

Apart from the Bandit motor, it's things like this that make me think i went a little too conservative when I built my Kat...
I must have been one of the first TL1000R swingers into a Kat though.

Damn - were can I buy one of these!!!!!!!!! That is without question one of the coolest modified Kats Ive seen - there quite a few out there that have missed the mark, but this one nailed it!!!

Hey Rusty, can you post the Kat photo up plez.

I can get the words but no pics :cry:

Whats the go with the dual springs/shocks? would they need to be softer than usual being so close to each other or the same weight as your average (spaced apart) twinnies?
It is very unique and looks cool.

Nige

Great looking Kat btw.

re dual springs/shocks
I would say the shocks need to be firmer as there closer to the swing arm pivot, so more leverage at the wheel.

Why two? done to look horn!

Actually, if you look closely at the shock mount on the swingarm they've used the TL1000R linkage mounts - I *nearly* monoshocked mine that way, but using a single unit. They've gone twin for aesthetics.

Dissapointed it's still got CV carbs though.

Well I hope he can sort it out, clearly has some problems;

Lack of traction
