And for stupid prices - I feared this when the Kat was named the most desired bike of the '80's.........

No more cheap stuff from the land of the rising sun - now known as the land of the rising parts prices
 
Quite a few eBay sellers put otherwise ridiculous prices on stuff that's currently out of stock so that they don't have to re-submit auction ads (and stump up with the charges associated)...


It's likely these parts are on order and the price will change back to 'normal' when they're in stock.

Wouldn't the bike be lighter with nothing at all?
Perhaps I'll start making paper mache covers and paint them black, could be a good market out there.


But of course for some I'll have to drill holes in the paper:D

I think the hole-punch is the perfect tool to use :p
 
Nope, they're genuinely that freaking expensive when they're in good shape - spent ages watching multiple sets go for silly money on Yahoo auctions. The Yoshimura Mag cam cover caps are highly desireable - both for real kats, and GSX400 impulse.

More wank factor than performance boost, though. A good poo before you ride would probably offer a similar weight saving. :?
