I went to the monster trucks tonight with the family. What a show!
Saw the classics like Grave Digger which had a HUGE stack, this was the result.



Some massive air.

 
I'm just amazed those spindly little frames support them when they land in the first place! They must have a team of welders and machinists touring with them...
 
Yep. They take more work to keep on their wheels than old Zooks.
That one that killed Grave Digger was about 10 meters in the air and it came down on the back left wheel and just crumpled it.
Besides the trucks, the drivers get punished too but, Americans know how to put on a show. It was an awesome atmosphere. I've been to other Motorsport events and if they don't take enough at the gate, they'll go easy on their equipment as its not worth their effort but that wasn't the case last night. QSAC was packed except the bottom seats for safety so I'd guess about 30000 people. We had to park a couple of kilometers away. It was mayhem.
 
I had my haircut yesterday (almost as fast as Drillit's), there was a young bloke of around 5 years old getting his haircut, he was real excited because he was going to the monster trucks and he seemed to know quite a few of the trucks, gravedigger was his favorite but his favorite colours were blue and green which he had sprayed as stars on the right and left side of his hair, it was real good to see such enthusiasm in one so young and it looks like he would have had a cracker of a night, his batman suit worked too.

Oh, and my barber was going too, she was looking forward to it with her kids.
