That is sad news indeed and i hope that a business plan can be put forward and the company continue to trade. This will be a massive blow to Suzuki owners.
 
That's not good news at all, Steve in spares mentioned that MH will be at the 35th. Hope he'll still attend.
MH was with Peter Brock in 2006 when they crashed at the Targa Rally in Gidgegannup WA.
 
There was some stuff in novrmber on social media and ch 7 about Ziggy Arness the salesman and part owner/director of the business going missing, for about 2 weeks.

Aaah no! Tragedy indeed, I really hope they don't disappear! Not just for the prices but for the service and Katana knowledge. There is no other dealer like them...
 
This is a serious tragedy. I've been happily putting money over the counter at Mick Hone's for 30 years, their experience with, knowledge of & passion for classic Suzukis is irreplaceable.
I really hope they can sort out whatever issues they have because I will really miss them if they have to shut up shop.
 
I just put an order in with Steve 2 days ago. Went to give them a call about the order and a message as " We have just closed shop and any queries please e-mail " Bugger. After this long in the game and experience and closing down how are any of them surviving ?

That's awesome news!

I owe them 9 steering stem shims and was going to call them to organise how to get them back to them so hopefully they're back on the air soon. I ordered one with the bits that were back ordered and they gave me a packet of 10 instead but only charged me the one...
 
You didn't have a trip meter knob in your package by any chance Pete?

I ordered one and had it posted to me. When I opened the package it was empty... I let Mick know and he was going to send another one. He charged me for it too...

Phil, I ordered 2 x oil filter gaskets from MH, when the order arrived there was only one, I emailed Steve and they sent me one at N/C.
see if they can do a stock count ... ie if they show 5 on hand but have 6 its not too hard to work out. They shouldn't be recharging again.

Hi Chief,

Thanks for the advice, however for $10 I'm not fussed at all; Mick has bigger worries at the moment I feel.
