Does anyone have a Marving exhaust fitted on their Kat or know of the build quality?I just found this on ebay and it has a nice original look to it and a tempting price of 378 euro delivered ($520 Aus).

I can't comment on how well they fit a zook. I have one on a CB1100F and the fit and finish are nice. The flat collector provides plenty of ground clearance and the finish (black chrome) has help up well;

Yep - very, very nice looking bike. I once had the CB750F until a pregnant women hit me crossing the road while having morning sickness out the car window. Amazing how whenever someone is sick they seem to have eaten carrots??

Yepp,That's a nice looking zorst,think i'll pull the trigger on one of those.

I've never understood the "ground clearance" issue - unless you're using the bike for motocross, or have ducks' disease and have lowered it heavily.

Like I said, I can't speak to the Marving on a zook. On my other DOHC CB's the 4-1 collector is located on the RH side to clear the pan. With a traditional cone collector (versus the flat arrangement on the Marving) the #2 pipe can definitely touch the ground. Check out the 4-1 V&H on my similar red CB1100F compared with the picture I posted earlier (both bikes on stock wheel sizes and stock suspension height);

Hi Steve
Know it's going to be a while before you get the zuast onto the bike, but when you do please post some pics. Be keen to see how it looks. At that price if the do international freight might be interested.

Cheers
Stuart

Hi Stewart,Here's the ebay item number.. 300980798279 it's the same shipping cost from Italy of 55 euro to Oz as it is to Sweden. Like you said it might be awhile before i fit it,should look like the stock one but maybe a little shorter.

It's ordered.I'm not a big Honda fan but that's a bloody nice couple of CB's you've got yourself there Pontiacstogo.

Hi

Anyone take delivery of one of these yet - i may be close to ordering but some feedback first would be nice!

Bill

I'm still waiting,built to order and i don't think they're in any rush about it.

I have just started restoration but sounds like i need to order now if i decide on this exhaust. I am going to contact the local Aussie suppliers first but i like the price and shape, black chrome and flat collector (all combine to give OEM look) on the Marving. On the downside stainless would be nice and i cannot find any information on sound or baffle arrangement - do you have info on the latter?

Nick
Staintune do excellent work but $$. I looked into them for the "modern" ride.

When i get my 750 S2 fixed up i am going to take the bike to Staintune and get a quote for black chrome 4 into 2

Checked the site and a pair of slip-ons for my ZX is $1400. Which is a little less than i thought, but still got to be $2k for a full 4:2 system (so not on my shortlist).

I contacted the Aussie Marving dealer about an exhaust for my G. He was about $900, you can buy from Wemoto for about $600 (give or take) delivered.
He was a nice enough bloke, but his reason for extra cost was postage which doesnt wash with me, cause this had to be posted too, twice?
Anyway, i still want one and they have great reviews from all previous owners.
