Hi folks, this will not be news to many here however, when there is something positive to say about someone then why not say it. Phoned Mick Hone to order some bits for the Kat a few days ago and scored Mick on the phone first, he was his usual friendly self before putting me through to Les in Parts. Les nailed it with his Kat parts knowledge and had it all sorted for me including some out of his way help. The Kat parts were in the mail within hours of the phone call and in my Kat parts bin a couple of days later. Great blokes providing fantastic Kat help and parts service and I couldn't be happier. Well, sure I'd be happier if I win the Jackpot Lotto but I'd be back on the phone to M.H. to order every Kat part he had in stock so I'd still be happy.

MH have been particularly helpful with my GS1000S enquiries of late.

Easy to deal with (unlike old mate at Suziparts) very professional and extremely knowledgable - they know the part numbers off the tops of their heads :roll: ...
Mind you, that's probably a bit weird now that I think of it.

I'd like to send a shout-out to Ray at Tiaro wreckers too - for the second time he's come through with the goods after I've depleted every other source.
 
I must say Mick Hone are so good to deal with. Steve there is always very helpful and they all really go out of their way for you. Service and postage is always prompt.

Is that Ray or Ross - just curious cause I know Ross has been winding back the business, he's sold all his NOS stuff and I've been trying to find out who bought it!

Mick Hone Motorcycles: a huge amount of people in business today could learn one hell of a lot from him for customer service etc etc. He is really part of a rare breed.

Sorry, yes, Ross is Tiaro Wreckers, Ray is Suziparts.


He's sold the NOS stuff?
Did Steve Leembruggen grab it?

Cal Merlo buys NOS parts from time to time as well...
 
We are also so fortunate here in Cape Town with Suzuki South and my main men Manny and Sid in the parts department. They also know the part numbers without having to look them up and the service is just great. Longest I have had to wait for a part was about two weeks. These guys are probably a dying breed though.
 
Yep, I'll be sticking with MH for all my bits and pieces!

As for Suziparts... yeah... he ain't cheap... and I think he's just a horder who likes to profit from it.
