luggage options for GS650M katana

So I want to do some long distance riding with the wifey riding the GS650g katana but looking at options for a pack rack or something they are bloody expensive (typical Ventura NZ company). My mate has something that sits under the seat on his GS1300 is there anything similar that will do the job for the GS650M???
