Today's instalment is L - keeping the Eurotrash theme the bike is a 1998 Laverda 750S Carenata. Apparently in Italian Carenata means fairing, sound flash oohh errr. Another eBay buy I've always loved Laverda's but can't afford an earlier one - this one cast $5800 including delivery and also came with the original owners manual - sold by Sunstate Motorcycles at Caboulture (do they still exist?). This bike was bought from a guy in Brisbane who's uncle had it sitting under the porch for 10 years because he couldn't ride it anymore. Only has 11,000 km on the clock so barely run in. The bike is a 750cc parallel twin and is very original. The pipes were replaced at some stage and needs a new speedo drive which is in a box in the garage. Sounds awesone and goes pretty quick as well. The fuel tank under the seat is quirky too. As for the yellow colour...... sorry Fly Giallo.
