Kats Koffee and Yeeros

Hi Folks, during our ride out to Boonah last month some of the banter was about a relaxing morning Koffee session and of course Kat talk. There has been a bit of interest in a Saturday morning meet-up for the Kats closer to the South and Central side of the Big Smoke. The idea with this is to enjoy some koffee, tea hot chocolate etc and yeeros straight off the BBQ plate and not as a starting point for a ride, the ride is getting there and whatever you want to do after koffee/breakfast.

The place for koffee/breakie is Samios Deli in Turbo Drive Coorparoo. They fire up the BBQ at 09:00 so it's a sleep-in Saturday morning for anyone needing a few extra zed's.

When: Saturday 30th April 2016.

Starting Where: The plan is to meet up in the carpark in the Muraree Recreation Reserve 1182 Wynnum Road - opposite the Caltex servo and leave the carpark at 08:45 for the deli.

Of course Kats are the preferred machine for this one.

I can almost throw rocks at Samios from my house. Might make it, new bub in the house makes things difficult.
If you line it up with the first saturday of the month the BBQ is running much earlier, they run Cars and Coffee there - people rock up from 6:30ish!

Bugger I am apparently going camping to Hastings Point that weekend so will miss it - and I was looking forward to this as it woyudl take all of 2 minutes to get there!!!

Perfect ! back from another stint in Indo 28th, and it will clear me skull before being back in the office. See ya ( at the speed limit) then Glen,

Cheers

Paul

Unlucky there Paul, if the Crew are happy with the set-up at Samios maybe we can make it a regular gig every six or 8 weeks and I know how close it is to your place so you'll be right for the next one.

Cheers.

That's why we're having this one at Samios, it makes things easier for riders on the South side of the river for a change. Yeah I know about the Cars and Coffee Saturday and the reason we're having it on the last Saturday is to miss the cars this time round. At times there have been some Clubs with pretty big numbers turning up for the Cars and Coffee days so it can be a bit of a wait for coffee and food on those days. The Samios staff are great people and do an excellent job providing for their customers no matter how many are there for the great coffee and yeeros.

Cheers.

Nick:)

Sounds like you clock a huge amount K's Nick.

Looks like I'm out for this one - the new windscreen I ordered rocked up yesterday - and it was the wrong one. Correct one won't be here till next week some time.

Hi folks, the Northside riders tried to bring their rain along for the day but the Hamma Valley Kats wouldn't have any of it, nice try Derek. The morning was perfect weather wise and not a drop from the sky to be had, yip yar! It was great Kat-ching up with the crew and enjoying the koffee and food while talking Kats, rallies, mods, projects, hmmmm pretty well everything really. Even some ex-girlfriends got a mention but rules is rules, what happens on the ride stays on the ride. Thanks to everyone who could get away for a few hours today and made it to Samios for a chat and going by the reaction from everyone today maybe this could be something to have every couple of months or so?
