Before we got into the beer and prawns for lunch today we did a bit of tinkering with Eric's Black Kat. Tried out the new Carbtune kit, works well and the Black Kat is running pretty sweet now. Got to go, beers are out and don't want to get behind in the round.

Cheers.

Yep, running sweet as a nut. :)

Thanks Glen and Ian for help and location ( Margaritaville Katana Station ), was a learning experience for all of us.

Only one little blip in the process, revs going all over the place when adjusting carb screws ???, a handily placed zippy tie :confused: fixed it...thanks Ian ;)

Prawns were yummy and beer was cold, great way to spend a few hours on a Friday.

Sounds like a bunch of fun to me! Glad to see you had two of the essential food groups covered too :D

Man I love that Kat Eric, can't wait to see her out and about!

Is she all up and running now with rego Toadboy ?

Nige

Up and running Nige :)......better explain why I have not rego'd yet...

... due to a bit of a muck up (my fault for not checking) on the financial side of things, it is going to be a bit tight in the Purdie household for a while yet.....no rego is a consequence :(

Handy Tip - if selling a house that was just outside council floodlines when you bought it....make sure council have not redrawn the floodlines (and didn't tell anyone affected) just before you try and sell it
.......I have lost well well north of 50k because a line on a map moved 25meters.:arrow::cry:

We still have our health (sort of, lol) and good friends around, so just getting on with it ;)

Yeah that's a real bugger Eric! My dad kept delaying selling his parents house at Yeronga until after the floods when he was forced by the solicitors to sell it (long story)... the difference in evaluation was eye watering to say the least, although that house's back yard was quite low and did flood a little...
