Kat calling from Ontario Canada......G'Day mates

Hello from Ontario Canada.
I have had bikes since age 15 (now in my 50's)and have owned one Kat twice,,,yep one Kat twice.
Back in 1987 I owned a Canadian Limited Pop up Katana (only 200 of these produced world wide, decals is the only real difference) then sold it in 1991. Fast forward to 2017 I own it again. Exact same one however...it has been abused over the years by various previous owners. So it is under restoration now. Got to get her back to the way she was when she landed in Canada back in 1984.

I am sure I will find allot of useful info on the forum.
Looking forward to researching the site and communicating with fellow Kats.

Have a good day all, will be posting a few questions in the near future.

Welcome mate! That's pretty cool, post some pic's when you can as we like to tag along and see how it goes.

Hi and welcome to the Forum. Great to have another member from the Dominions aboard, we have to stick together ya know mate.

Cheers.

Welcome from sunny South Africa. That is such a good story. Look forward to seeing some pics of your progress.
Cheers

Hi Mr.G, You've found the right place for Katana 'fans'. As in fanatical. Like the others, I'm keen to see you chart your progress on the forum. It's always heartening to hear of another Kat being brought back to former glory. And yes, advice and tips are freely offered and gratefully received.

thanks to all for the warm welcome. Here are two pics. One showing what the Kat WILL look like when complete (except 200 will be 177) and the other is where I'm at. Engine and all came off the frame. Every part cleaned, painted, etc. Wiring has just been re installed.
