Just returned from VJMC National Rally Canberra

I just got back from the VJMC National Rally in Canberra.

A bit disappointed that there were only 4 Kats their but I suppose it can be hard to get away 2 weekends in a row.

Around 300 bikes turned up and it was a really well organised weekend. I will post some pics in the next few days.

I would have loved to have gone, but as have only just got bike on road and don't know the history was not prepared to risk it. Still not 100% on the fuel mixture and feels like it's drowning when you screw the throttle.
I'll also miss SoO, but am already planing for 35th in 2016.

Looking forward to seeing any pics you post

Don't be too harsh there Dave, ya know those Blues aren't as tough as we are up here.

Ahh! Now that's where you should be sure of your facts before making such assumptions.
I am actually a QLD'er from around the Logan area. Only been in Sydney 10 yrs due to a work relocation.

And yes, we are tougher up there!
Truth to be told, I don't get my open till May either and that is the second reason can't make it.

Well, never had a license at all back in 84', but felt it best to try and keep on right side of law this time.

Open as of 6th May seems so far away, especially as taking whole of April off for long service leave.
 
Hmmm blues aren't as tough as Qlder's aye, but have yet to see a QLDer ride down to NSW just to go for a ride with the "Boy's" and on a Pop-up of all things haha

Boo Hiss to you Qld Boys as a little birdie has informed me, ANOTHER Qld Kat will make it to the N.S.W. shores. On that note Dave she will go to a good home and see all of you at Dorrigo as the weather gods may not be nice.

Correct, rules is rules. Frankie's new Kat qualifies as a QLD Kat for S.O.O. count, see Rule 1074 Section 3 sub para 7.2!
