The Children’s Hospital at Westmead has 50 Bandaged Bears who need a new home.
The sick and injured children in hospital have agreed to adopt these poor, homeless waifs.
But first they need to go on an adventure.
YOU can help. Get a team together and take your bear to wonderful places so that they have amazing stories to tell their new owners.
How to bear-sit
The team that has the best stories and pictures will win the best prizes.
The photos are being judged BY THE CHILDREN so this will test your imagination to the limits.
Rules – (there has to be a few doesn’t there)
Each team must raise $500 (through corporate sponsorship or individual contribution) and donate it directly to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead through their Everyday Hero account before September 30 in order to be eligible to win the prizes. How you chose to raise the money during the three months of bear-sitting is up to you.
The team must provide a list of the names of their bear-sitters to Survive the Ride [david@survivetheride.org or
0473 934 196] and nominate a Chief Bear Sitter.
