Hi Katana owners have just got hold of a supposed to be one owner Yellow GSX750S Katana compliance date 1/1982 Vin No. GR71A-104854 Eng No. R701-104859 just wondering if it could be an original JCW model 1 of 30 that were made if any members might have any info would be most welcome cheers Tony
 
Hi Tony ....... I have a JCW, complied 1/82, ENG No R701-104842, VIN GR71A-104878, so I guess one could assume that our bikes were made into JCW special editions from the same batch? I have a picture of a certificate allegedly issued with my bike when new and the numbers appear correct albeit very faded, almost unreadable. You could write to Suzuki Australia, ya never know they still might have the details of the JCW Replicas on file somewhere.
