He stopped in on a visit some years back, can't remember his handle.

Great looking bike Rob. I like the poster above the bench.

Cheers Rusty and Thomas, I took that poster right off the wall of the bike shop I bought the bike at. I had it back in shortly after buying it for a radius valve job, jetting, header and light porting. After spending 6k on the bike then another couple k on engine work, I decided I owned the poster, ahahahahahahah. While buddy was deciding whether he was going to give it to me or not, he got a phone call, so I walked back behind the counter and took it off the wall while he was on the phone. He smiled and shook his head as he watched me walk out with it. It has been hanging up on dozens of walls since spring 1982.

Hi Bob, welcome back, yep, I'm still here but I changed my name to 'scrapeit' with the 'new' forum, I thought that since I tend to run out of ground clearance at times when I'm in the twisties and I ride with 'Drillit' most Saturdays, a name change to scrapeit was appropriate, thus 'scrapit'.

I loved the time I had over there and it was great to catch up with you, albeit not knowing where I was going but got to your place eventually.

Your Kat looks really nice and it looks like it means business, even standing still, great stuff.

I hope you can get over here someday, we may not have as much picturesque scenery as you do but we can ride all year round, when it rains here in Queensland, it is just 'liquid sunshine'... even in winter, well, for me it is as I used to ride to work in -6 degrees of frost, snow etc. when I lived around the Blue Mountains.

I've posted a video of some mad bugger on a kat giving it a bit around some of our local roads, do a search of my posts, it gives an idea of what to expect if/when you do make it over here.

Cheers
Reg

We have thought about visiting Ausieland. One of my wife's favorite TV shows is "MKR", My Kitchen Rules. Don't know if you have heard of that show but it is local to you. We are year round riding here in Vancouver as well. While the rest of Canada is blanketed with the white stuff, we are still green but, plenty of liquid sunshine as well.

Great new handle. I had to change mine as someone has katman here already so bobkat works just as well. Too bad the old build thread is gone, that was a lot of work, but a lot of fun too. Thanks very much for the invite, very kind.
