I've just finished giving the black Kat an overhaul in anticpation of SOO 2015 which included replacing the fork oil (well what was probably once fork oil anyway), polisihing the fork legs, brake and caliper clean up, wiring clean up, new tyres front and rear, centre stand (jeezus what a difference that makes), change over the rusty nuts and bolts, chain service and sprocket check, carb dismantle and clean and tune up (that made a big difference too), general clean up and rode her to work today for teh first time.
Noticed something seemed a bit odd and reaslised that I haven't put the clip-ons back on the same angle. The left one is out further than the right (which is in the proper position). Very freaky as it feels like I am turning right all the time! Guess what I'll be doing when I get home tonight.
Good thing is that although the ride comfort still sucks (rear shocks are in the plan before SOO) it is definitely pulling much cleaner than before. Bring on SOO!!!
And off topic bought a 1994 YZF750R today but not sure if I want to keep it - anybody interested in buying it - $2,500 unregistered or will provide a RWC for $2650 (probably needs a new rear tyre which I'll include for that price), runs fine - if you know anyone who is interested PM me. May keep it as yet as it will be a good companion to the ZXR750 and the 851.
