Hey fellas. Justin from Bilpin here. I was in the old forum and was at the 30th get together. Went to Nambucca '14 also. Had kidney cancer so was not well for a while. Op last Aug and only 1 kidney left. I have spoken with Franky on and off. Rusty a little etc. Anyway I am back on track and looking forward to getting down for the 35th so I hope the Sydney boys are going via the Olympic hwy!. Just gotta get the Kat sorted. Only the left blikers not working now, first time ever so looking to get that sorted then 6mths rego. Then the '99 Busa back on the road after that.
Sorry I went missing but had my reasons plus work changed a bit too so been a bit busy. Looking forward to reigniting the Kat thing guys so thanks for being there still hey!
Cheers from Bilpin.

Welcome back SKatman. Pity your in Biin as only just recently went to Mudgee to visit the sister inlaw.

As the flasher unit requires earthing through the bulbs to function, if the right blinkers work can assume the flasher relay and Turn Signal Control Unit are functional ( even if the TSCU has been bypassed.

If you don't have a multi-meter or not great with electrics, start with the obvious and check both front and rear bulbs( note the turn signal on the speedo cluster 'should' still function ) as its not impossible for both/ all bulbs to have gone.

At the left handlebar control switch harness, the Black wire is the Left indicator, the Light Green is the Right one.
If you have a multi-meter you should be able to confirm power from the Light Blue wire ( power feed in ) to either of these wires.

Also, could be just a dirty contact inside the switch block. It can be pulled apart to clean, but caution needed not to brake the small plastic bits if it's an original unit.

Cheers
Stuart
