Sorry that should be *Hello everyone* Hi, my name is Andrew and I have a 1982 7/11. I use it as my daily ride to work and I have been giving it a freshen up since December. Not quite finished yet but am riding full time now, just waiting for the panels and tank to come back from spray painters. I have a few pictures before and after to post. I have had the bike since 2012 when I bought it as a non runner 7/11 complete with towbar. Cheers.100_8574 - Copy.JPG. I'll work on the uploading of pictures soon.

Thankyou and yes it is my daily ride. Can someone please advise of how to upload pictures and or save them to my profile etc, kind regards Andrew.

Hi Andrew
If your on a computer it should be easy, but I've been having issues uploading from iPad. Keep getting msg saying it's wrong size.

If you look in the task bar above in the Quick Reply box, the third one from the right is pictures.
If you have the pics on a drive on same computer, you should be able to choose file, select and upload.

I use Photobucket. I upload the pic and then get the IMG file and paste it in the post.

Hey Andrew, welcome! Nothing wrong with a 7/11... I'm making one now :) (albeit very slowly).

I use Photobucket also, can be slow and painful but it makes it very easy to link to the photos.

Glad to hear you use your Kat as a daily rider, that's awesome! I use my little old GS450 for the same.
 
Thanks Tom and Pete, Just got my tank and panels from the spraypainter today. I went with Mazda Soul Red paint code 41V. Heres another early photo.

Hey there SKatman, I bought it off a guy named Duane Johnson. And yes it was well worn with about 10 coats of paint removed before delivering parts to spraypainter. Would like to start a rebuild post to share my work,specs and mods, etc.
 
talk about Katastrophic ,fucking motorcycle abuse the previous owner should go and see a doctor,obvious to me that this person requires some profesional help with what ever mental problems there having, go and have a look at there back yard, shouldn't be to hard to work that out, they are a danger to themselves and anybody else around, forfucksake.that's my opinion having enjoyed my own mental health problems for 39yrs.cheers Pat.
