i picked up a baby kat dirt cheap about 8 months ago in mint condition and got it re regeoed and have been loving it since and even more finding out how rare it is anyway heres some pics about to get rebuilt soon as some idiot damaged the tank (was me) lol,
Ha Ha - Its all good mate those little 250s are definatley the way to go - At least they look cool as and are compatable with L plates. I too left getting a motorbike licence for a long time. Inherited my Kat as a pulled down ready to resto project and had no licence. Got my Ls then had to wait 12 months (with a ride here and there of course) before I could ride it. First road bike I ever rode was my Kat!!
thanx everyone i actually brought a zzr600 first but got told by the local authority pretty quickly i couldnt ride it then brought this beast for $600 , and spent $300 on rego owes me about a grand lol i love it to bits lol
No probs.
Anyway - happy Christmas (I refuse to say happy holidays) to all you reprobates out there and have a fantastic new year. Keep on riding and keep the Kats alive
Cheers
Mel
