Hi all,
just a long post to introduce myself. Although I registered some time ago to the site, I had access issues to the forum. So thanks to Shin-Ken 1074, who just happened to run into me one recent Saturday & also Frankie.
My Katana history started in 1985, when I purchased a brand new SE from Melbourne Suzuki. Wow what a bike. I was only 19! Sounds like a song doesn't it. Lol. Anyway about two months later I remember taking off my helmet one day in Elizabeth Street on a Saturday morning and everyone was looking at me and saying how young I was and that I shouldn't be riding that machine.
Fast forward 32 years (children older now) I finally brought another SE only this one is an 86 model. The sad thing is.........now I take off my helmet and people say how old I am and that I shouldn't be riding that machine!!!!!
Gee you just can't please people can you?
Anyway looking forward to catching up with you all at some point!!
