Harry's Diner Bike nights?

So, First Wednesday of the month is bike night - ie tomorrow night - anyone going? Good chance i'll be there catching up with some mates.
 
ahh! used to be a Harry's Diner at Newmarket road Windsor ( used to work there in front of the McDonalds training centre )

did not think it would be in Sydney
 
Newmarket is the place :)

It's still the same one in the same place... I would love to get to one of these at some point but can't see it happening at the moment.
 
If anyone decides to go let us know what it is like.
When I am home on the right week I will go for a ride in .
 
There's a fella on another forum I'm on who has been and said it's a good night. He spotted some older bikes out as well, apparently it's not just your usual custom Harleys that show up but a better variety than that. He happens to be a GSX/Kat fan so he knows what to look out for...
 
There's a massive bunch of Squids who call themselves Northside Wolf Pack - They have big NWP stickers on their bikes -a large proportion of them are on busted arse LAMs bikes, some are on R1s etc - they have a propensity to rock up and park people in. Anyway, there were hordes of bikes there last night, and apparently after we left to go and eat the cops rocked up - grasping at straws they were booking people for offensive language.
I think every Victory ever sold in SEQLD was there, plus all the dealer stock.

There was a neat GS 450(?) there with a 900ss seat unit and YOSHIMURA painted down the tank, and a very tidy Water Buffalo. There was a better turnout in terms of VJMs last month when the weather was shitty.
 
Maybe another location/night of the week is a better proposition?


I used to attend a few 'around Brisbane' bike nights (Brisbane Bikers Yahoo group, for example) and I tired quickly of the wannabes, dickheads, politics, relationship dramas and infighting.

I don't believe this group suffers from any of that (well none of us QLDers anyway ;) ) - maybe we could organise our own 'night' and/or venue where just (mostly) Kats and old Jap shitboxes can congregate?

I know we have Power O, but there's probably also scope for a weeknight get-together.
 
Make it happen then. I would show ugly my dial at least once...

Nothing wrong with Wednesdays in my book, or any night for that matter.
Suggest choosing a venue in a central-ish location so both sides of town can come.
 
I suggest a venue with plenty of street lights on the road in and out - that way Pop Up Boy (you know who you are.....) can attend.
 
Who ever turns up there in Brissy please enjoy a Pie,peas and gravy and someone have a spare can of coke for Derek. Oops Nige made me do it!!

Yes stirring must be done a regular intervals otherwise it all congeals and goes lumpy. Not a good thing.

Its all good Derek and just got a call from Pete and when he picks up your 1100 on his way south he will stop overnight at my place in Sydney so will a good look at the old girl. Ah is COKE time, OOps BLOODY Nige again!!

.....actually, I am a bit disappointed in Toadboy - from what I could see in my mirror - he didn't even try and scoop my pipe up off the road as he tried to weave to avoid it.:|

hahaha, was busy trying to keep my head on shoulders as it whizzed past my left ear at a great rate of knots :)
