Hi all, looking to get a set of guages looked at. I think it’s a Jap import, weren’t they all really, as it has a speedo with miles and kilometres.
It reads the speed reasonably ok but the trip meter and odometer are not turning over quick enough, regards Russell.

Hi, thanks for the Lionel Otto tip. I’ve sent an email to enquire. Also any other tips or advice to a new owner appreciated. Bike is currently getting full service and carby sort out after fuel leak issues.Everything seems stock standard and the vin number is
6ZZOGSX110X542357 if that helps anyone help me, tar.
 
If the Speedo is predominantly miles then I guess the trip meters would register miles.

Not sure if/how they fix that.
 
Hi, not sure if I explained that correctly. I know I travelled about 110 miles and the speedo registered reasonably correctly with riding partners bike. The trip meter and the odometer both only recorded about 40 miles. Hopefully the place in Brisbane can sort it out. Thanks.
 
Ok. Got it now.
So you were riding in mph and measuring miles but odo seemed to read about 4/11ths......
 
Welcome aboard! Hopefully Otto can sort it. Assume you’re actually in Nanango? We come that way for the go karts every now and then.
 
hi, yes I live in Nanango and have seen the Katanas at the Go cart track twice now. Would be good to catch up with fellow owners next time you are going to the track or out this way. I/we hope to get to Brissy for some rides also.
