Hi there,

Just wanted to say gday and let you know I have now bought a bike - its a late model Jap import 1100 in very tidy nick. Not perfect, but pretty good.

Loved the Kats when they first came out and had one for a few years 20 or so years ago. I've been looking for one for a while but just needed all the stars to line up, and they have!
The Kat keeps company in the garage with a couple of other bikes my wife and I use for commuting and weekend rides

Have found the advice on this site very helpful, also Mick Hone - hope he is up and running again soon
 
G'day otzi and welcome, I can imagine your grinning like a Cheshire cat (kat) at the moment. We're all hoping MH will be back (better than ever). Cheers Ian
 
Hi Otzi and welcome to the forum. Glad to hear you are getting back on a Kat after finding one that you are happy with. Yeah, we're all hoping M.H. is back in business very soon, Mick is a good bloke and has been a pleasure to speak with and his advice has always been helpful.

Hi and welcome Otzi. Just spoken with Steve Hunter from MH and he said they hoping to be up and going late today. They just waiting on Suzuki.

Sorry for the dumb question but how do I post pics ... couldn't see how to add them to the original post. Have I missed an option or do I need to add pictures in an album?

Good to hear the update on MH ... I heard earlier in the week they expected to be trading again in a day or so, hope that day is soon.

Welcome Otzi, We are having a big meet just up the rd from you in Albury the first weekend of March.It would be good if you and the family can come along and meet a heap of people and their bikes.

Welcome Otzi.
You can add pics to post by hitting the the picture with tree at the top of the dialogue box

This allows you to either add a pic from your files, or if on a mobile device ( iPad, iPhone etc ) take a pic there and then.

But you can also start adding pics to albums in your profile

Hi Otzi,

Lovely looking Katana. I noticed no number plate, so is it not currently registered? Also, where in Melbourne are you?
