Hi Guys,
I'm getting to the final stages of renovating my 1985 750 pop up, but have a gauge problem. As I am a bit of a perfectionist, I'm wanting to replace the gauge surround, which has a couple of splits in it, as well as some sort of glue smeared over the futile repair by prior owner. New ones are not available, so hoping to pick up a good second hand one, or if I have to, buy the whole gauge cluster. Would anyone know of such an item out there someone may have tucked away?
Alternatively, as a second choice, would a later model gauge set, say 1998, be a straight fit for my bike? I know it wouldn't be fully original then, but it may be a best fix option in this circumstance. Any other suggestions/alternatives, would be gratefully received.
