Full fairing re-build

Hi all
Have acquired a set of Cyclestyle Full lower fairings.
Does anybody have pics of the upper mounting brackets as I'll have to fabricate my own.

Wanted them as that was how mine was back in the day, but after so much work on the bike, now not so sure.

Anyway, not to debate the Pro's & Con's or personnel preference. Might get them cleaned up, any patch ups required and then painted.
Perhaps a quick disconnect mounting so that I can change the look at my whim

A couple of quick shots with my phone. I will take a few more - clearer with sizing. (ASAP)

Regards Tom

Thanks Tom
That's a great start. No rush as lots of time to pln how I want the final look.

A couple of pics how the brackets mount onto the upper fairing fame would help helps.

Cheers

Have you been on the E-bay photography course there!! Lol

Well, I have never sold anything on eBay, but with this effort with my phone I would probably do really well. I will have to find something to sell. But, once in is in my garage I really hate to part with things. (bit of a hoarder)

Sounds like my shed.Every once in a while I have to reorganize and shuffle things about to make things fit. As long as your a good hoarder of parts and not news papers dating from 1986!

I have two fairings and have taken a few more photos of each. Both I believe to be Cycle Style. The first has what looks to be home made brackets and the second the original. Hope this helps.

These two photos are from a fairing I tried to purchase from the US but the freight killed the deal. This one has a belly bracket where the other two faring do not.

Thanks Tom for taking so much time to take the pics. The detail is very helpful.
LOLs like I have a set of Cycle Style's same as back in 84'. Just need to get them back in good condition and make some brackets. An idea where the belly bracket was meant to attach?

By the way, nice nail polish

Believe it or not, it is NOT mine! I am only in to natural black, from dirt and grease.

The belly bracket goes from the lower engine mount to the other side lower engine mount.

The two I have do not use this. One has a bracket at about carb level. I think Patrick from Manjimup in WA (has the carbon fibre look SZ) made a couple of side brackets when he fitted is fairing a while back.

If you need anything else just yell.

calling all lower fairing owners.
tom has been really helpful with specs for the mounts,
but am calling out to all Kat owners with full lowers ( or photo' of lower ) for pics of your ride.
am looking to get some thoughts on how best to finish off a full gurdle for the mid-size girl.

cheers
