Very sad news. Don was always very helpful and enjoyed a good chat and knew his way around a bike that's for sure.

Yes, really sad news. I found out while sitting waiting for a flight in Sydney last Thursday.
I was talking to him on the phone Friday week ago and had been laid up after a slip while working with his sister as well as fighting a skin cancer issue.
Over the last few years he has made / turned up on his lathe a number of custom parts for a few of my builds and was so pedantic that everything was perfect.
Condolences to his family, Dan, Les and Mary.
Another weekly telephone I will miss.
