Dawid katana

Thought I'd post these pics of recently deceased Katana mad, David (Dawid katana) Malan. Sadly he recently less than 5 months ago, found out he had cancer. He passed away on 5 January, less than a month away from his 73rd birthday. He was a Legend here in SA. At one time he had more than 10 Katanas. His collection included 1 x GSX1000SZ (called Striker here in SA, 100% original down to the exhausts!) and 2 x E27 spec SXZs. One of the SXZs, a special 1142 Yoshi, came my way together with the beautiful Katana banner. He was a very dear friend of mine and like a 2nd dad to me. He will be missed!!!!

Sorry to hear of your friends passing. Cancer is a bugger. My condolences to you and his family. He looks to be pretty proud of his collection. May he rest in piece.
