Das Donk

I thought it was just me, but I see from some other posts, that “engine hoarding” is an actual thing. I have two Kats, and still wanted another engine, but they just don’t seem to be for sale anymore in Australia? I found this one in Wedemark, Germany and 134 days later it is now safely tucked away in a shed in Brisbane.

It is one of the first edition GS110X engines with the 20 bolt cylinder head covers before they changed over to 22 bolts. But not complaining, as hoarding itch fixed…..for now.

Cheers,

Paul

Glen - Do you have any info on the number? Interested to know date and whether it was originally an E22 variant or something else?

I also picked up a set of BS34's with it, and found most jets are the same as our E24. But the Jet Needle is a 5D57, and not the 5D59 as recommended.

Not sure why it would be set-up to be that rich?

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul, will check engine number for you and get back to you, however I think that number would be around July/Aug 1981 ish.

Cheers.
